AMP Developments commenced trading in November 2008. I had been running a successful business called General Glass & Glazing since 1980, where my 2 sons eventually joined me as partners in the business when they left college. We supplied and fitted residential and commercial glazing, window replacements and conservatories. We would provide the groundwork, brickwork, plumbing and electrics thus giving our customers peace of mind that we managed the complete project.
We decided to branch out into property renovation and extensions after hearing so many stories of bad workmanship from our customers, friends and family. AMP Developments first job was refurbishing a 1 bedroom flat which we completed on time and most importantly on budget. Our next project was the refurbishment of a 3 bedroom house. AMP Developments went from strength to strength undertaking various projects from fitting kitchens and bathrooms to building extensions and landscape gardening. We are accredited with Certass and the Consumer Protection Association to cover all building regulations and guarantees for our workmanship. Our windows and doors carry a 10 year guarantee. All deposits we request are insured as soon as our customer registers it with the Consumer Protection Association via their website. On larger projects such as extensions we will have a contract drawn up so again as a customer you have full peace of mind.
